During our recent family trip to Switzerland, we stayed at Hotel La Vallee, a gem nestled away from the hustle of Verbier. The hotel, while older, boasts classic furnishings and immaculate cleanliness. Our mornings began with hearty breakfasts, perfect fuel for our daily adventures. The skiing was fantastic; with over 400 km of slopes, we enjoyed every moment on the mountain. My daughters loved the thrill of skiing downhill, and I appreciated the well-marked uphill trails for a more leisurely outing. What truly made our stay delightful was the welcoming atmosphere created by owners Jean-Marc and Patricia Pellissier. Their commitment to family and outdoor pursuits shone through their hospitality. Ending our days in the outdoor hot tub, filled with fresh meltwater, was a lovely way to unwind. I should mention that while it's a short drive to Chable for lifts, the convenience made it worth it. La Vallee may not be in Verbier, but it provided an enriching family experience that we cherished. We left feeling grateful and relaxed.
